Idk. I haven't tasted it!!
The Staff is Always uncooperative, Ordered Baked Ziti and the Noodles were undercooked. The prices are overboard, the Pizza Shop at NewKirk Plaza is Ten times better.
Great pizza, great service
Delivery pizza was the grandmas pie. really good but crust was a little tough for my liking. Lots of oil. Besides that the pizza was great. 4 Adults ate one pizza and we were full~3 slices each. Pretty speedy delivery too.
You can expect a warm welcome by genuine people making and serving great pizza and Italian food. I've been eating here for nearly 30yrs since I was a little girl and now I bring my daughter. It's a neighborhood staple that will always hold a special place in my heart.
Awesome place with a great menu and atmosphere. Friendly staff with prompt service!
Short and sweet: My lasagna was excellent. And the back room is well air-conditioned. That combination makes me a new repeat customer. Looking forward to trying the pizza.
It was my first time trying their and to be honest I really enjoy it. I will be back soon.
Great food. Staff is great new waiter for sit in needs more work. Children friendly place.
CLASSIC CORNER PIZZERIA,though it’s in the middle of a Cortelyou commercial block, the San Remo is seemingly always busy with students from Public School 139, home-bound commuters and local retirees. There’s a counter and back with tables and chairs. Good slices and fast take away.
Grandma slices are the best.
Asked for a large Margherita pie with pepperoni and asked for the price... was told 24.50. Came to pick up pie and found out there were no pepperonis added and was charged extra and when asked if the price was correct the man behind counter lied... on top Messing up order and overcharging, employee lied as well. Thats not good business etiquette or customer service. Pizza was also poorly made... i’ve never had any issues with San Remo before. This is truly disappointing.
The staff there is sooo rude. Despite the quality of pizza it still doesn't worth to go there especially in New York with hundreds other pizzerias! Quality of food 4, customer service - 2. Arithmetic mean 1 star!
Authentic Italian food served in large portions. Very awesome!
This is a quality pizza joint that puts passion into every slice. The pies are always fresh and the service is great. They offer both formal dine-in and take-out eat-in and a fully featured menu of Italian classics. The zeppoles (not available every day) are the perfect combo of softness and sweetness and their marinara is one of the best around. It can get a little crowded with take-out customers in the early evenings but it's well worth it.
Best place i spend here 8+ hours no seriously oof the pizza is the best the fries too everything is good the kitchen always clean everyday and is good
Decent pizza but still nothing special. I got 2 slices with some toppings and it ended up costing $9.50. Pizza isn’t even that much in the city so I’m sorry but don’t bother paying for this overpriced pizza. You can get a whole pie that price from somewhere else in Brooklyn not too far
Have not been there in 2-3 years, but I look forward to to returning when I get back to Brooklyn, there fresh mozzarella tomato and basil with olive oil well done is one of the best. You guys remember me as Mr.Joe.For a local pizza spot they are good.
Place doesnt let you wash your hands
Their dishes and pizzas are freshly made. They are exactly what you ordered, made by very pleasant people. My family looove their pizza.
not good service food its ok costumer service very bad
Very good slice.
Good food. Good family environment. The waiter, maybe the owner’s son, is awesome and very courteous. The penne vodka is our favorite whenever we don’t order a pizza.
White sliceeeeee lol flaky crust not too soft not too hard just how I like it $3.75 well spent...Pizzeria in the front restaurant in the back will surely try that soon
Such a classic italian spot. Food is good and very affordable.
Great antipasto, grilled fish and asparagus
great pizza worst pasta double ill
Pizza was really fresh
Went for sit down dinner but waiter didn't really care we were there and played on his phone. Ended up leaving and getting takeaway out front. Pizza was pretty good.
Very good delicious know man boss thx
I paid 11.25 for three mediocre slices of pizza. It tasted like nothing but grease and bread. Gentrification at its finest. I could’ve gotten a whole pie on Flatbush that would’ve tasted way better than that.
Had a bday party for my daughter, ordered 7 pies. EACH AND EVERY PIE was DELICIOUS. Seriously, I know some people feel like "pizza is pizza" but no. That is false, THIS pizza was seriously great. From the kids, to the parents, to the parents parents, everyone raved how good it was. Soft crust, dough was just think enough, and the cheese was super quality, not too saucy but you knew it was there! 5 Stars!OH. 1 more thing, I purchases Medium pies and they were HUGE . I could imagine how many people the Large Pies can feed.
Best Pizza in NYC
Great service and great pizza. Just a bit greasy. They have to lower down on the oil.
Well let me start off by saying that the cheese and sauce do compliment each other but the dough is not that good at all. The pineapple is definitely canned not fresh and the black olives weren't that good...... didn't taste fresh at all. Definitely give it a 5/10. The dough should be better than what I've experienced and the pineapple and black olives should be fresh at all times. Yeah definitely a 5/10.
I have been going to this pizza shop for 10 years, i usually get mama squares and a chicken ceasar salad. The staff is friendly and Juan the chef always makes my salad the way I like it. Shop really small
Good basic pizza but don't pay extra for the specialty slices not that good
I love the seafood medley here! Delicious! Huge portions-easily feeds 2!
Good customer service
Very good pizza!! Just as good as "Lo Duca" ver nice atmosphere😊
Excellent pizza and helpful staff. Reasonable prices.
It's not the nicest looking restaurant along Cortelyou – the room at the back is a bit dark, and the tables make it feel really casual, more like a diner – but my goodness the food is good. We had a mini pizza to share (perfect size as an appetizer) and two of the pasta dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious tasting. The prices are good, the waitress was really lovely, and they're family friendly.
Delicious and authentically Italian. Family friendly dining.
I ordered a whole wheat pizza from San Remo tonight on Seamless. After 75 minutes I called to find out where the delivery person was, only to be told that they hadn't even started making my order since they had run out of whole wheat. And they never felt the need to call me to let me know. Needless to say, with two hangry kids at home, I had to scramble and come up with other plans for dinner. San Remo ruined our family dinner, and I won't be ordering from this restaurant ever again.
Great neighborhood pizza joint.... Enjoy
The crust doesn’t keep it’s texture. The cheese has little to no flavor and the sauce is worse than sub par. 2 slices out of 8 slices.
Their pizza is out of this world amazing. Want to go back, and I'm not much of a pizza eater. Very attentive staff!
Pizzeria food done right. Everything they make is fresh and wonderful. Delivery is usually quick and hot. The staff is always friendly and professional.
Love San Remo. I've been going here for years...still amazing
food served hot, delicious food. Slightly overpriced. They should bring their prices down a bit. Clean place. Waitress screaming and cursing at her friend, no class and unprofessional.
Pizza is great, but some reason it's different during after school hours, so I recommend coming after 6pm.
